GCS is excited to invite you to our first Lunch and Learn event of 2010. Lately there has been quite a bit of buzz around Server and Desktop Virtualization, Hypervisors, and Storage Area Networks (SAN’s). GCS is unique in that we are one of few data VAR’s in Texas that is certified to sell Dell Equallogic SAN, HP Lefthand SAN, VMWare, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper V. The event will be divided into two parts. The first part is a luncheon where Joe Gleinser, the President of GCS, will discuss the differences between products such as Dell Equallogic and HP LeftHand SAN, VMWare vSphere 4 and Microsoft Hyper V, VMware View 4 and Citrix XenDesktop 4
The second portion of the event will be a product showcase where manufacturer representatives from Dell Equalogic, HP Lefthand SAN, Microsoft Hyper-V, and VMware will demo their products. A representative from the Data Foundry data center will also be at the event.
The luncheon is in the Sullivan’s library and starts at 11:30 sharp. The presentation and luncheon will last until 1:00. After the luncheon the manufacturer’s will showcase their products in Sullivan’s Ringside Bar. They will be available until 5:00. If you cannot make the luncheon, please feel free to join us for happy hour in Ringside Bar from 3:00 to 5:00 to meet with the manufacturers and see demos on their products. The luncheon is limited to 70 attendee’s so please RSVP now.
